Note: Muji Disappointment :(

Ok, I haven't been to the actual Muji, but I've been doing some research online and based on the prices listed, I find that the local Muji stores prices to be too high :( It's said that the local Muji prices will be 6%-7% lower than HK prices, but comparing how much Filipinos make compared to the wages in HK, it's still expensive.  Of course, here in the Philippines, Muji was meant for people who can really afford, which is why they place it in Bonifacio High Street. As for me, I'm still sticking to my local bookstores for school supplies and SM department stores for my plasticware. Haha, I'm a cheapo.

I've been to Muji in Singapore and London. Guess which one is most expensive? London. S'pore Muji isn't too bad, some stuffs are pretty cheap, but some are outrageously priced. Their food is GOOD though. :)

I was disappointed too (actually wrote about it on my blog), but there are still some really good buys. For me the stationery and office supplies are tops (pens are a must buy). Overall I was bummed they didn't bring much food here.

So far I've been to Muji Manila, SG and HK and the cheapest is HK by far. The best selection too.

@Music, i expect that Muji in london will be expensive, since they have a high cost of living. nice to know their food is good.

@melvel, i didn't see the one in SG but i've been to the one in HK, yeah the price is actually not bad for some items but some are still expensive.
