Hello everyone! I'm back with another pictureless post. I'd just like to share my experience regarding Geo Circle Lenses. Now I have nothing against them, it's just that I really wanted them to work for me. Unfortunately, it didn't.
I tried it because it was cheap at less than P800, plus everyone is so into it. So when my Flex Wear contact lenses, became too uncomfortable to wear already, I pre-ordered a pair of Geo Lenses. Upon wearing them, my eyes became red after 3 or 5 days. In my case, when my eye gets red, it gets uncomfortable. The other way around also happens: when my eye gets uncomfortable, it will turn red. So when my eye turned red, as it sometimes happens due to irritation, I rest my eyes for 2-3 days until my eyes become normal again. In this case, however, everytime I wear them again, my eyes became really uncomfortable, and after a few hours of use, it turns red. Even if I give my eyes a rest again for a few days, the same thing will happen again. So sadly, after two weeks of trying, I gave up and bought myself a pair of Flex Wear again :(
I'm envious of the girls who can wear Geo Contact Lenses without having any problems. I have sensitive eyes, so this wasn't for me. I noticed that these lenses tend to get dry faster than most brands, which is why it's giving me problems. Also, I wear contact lenses for 12-14 hours, which is quite long. I'm just sharing my experience with you other gals out there. Other gals don't seem to have any problems with this brand. However, this might not be the brand for people with uber sensitive eyes like me. HTH!

donnarence, hindi pala ako nag-iisa. sayang naman hindi ka rin pala hiyang.
I have never tried any lenses all my life and I don't think I even can! I like those big round eyes but I guess I'll just admire them from afar hehehe
hindi kaya fake sya?
i want to wear a pair, but of course i cant. haha!
I cannot wear geo contacts and wear glasses at the same time! haha! its weird!
its ok though.
crystal merry christmas!
nikki, haha buti ka pa you have clear eyes kasi e. unlike me, i'm practically blind :)
aika, i thought about it but i don't think so.
jing, you can wear graded geo lenses naman so you won't need to wear glasses anymore :)
oh that's sad..I have eyes that get easily dry (even when I'm wearing glasses) so based on your experience..this won't suit me too..thanks for the review :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS sis! ^_^
gale, pareho pala tayo! merry christmas sis! hugs...
awww this is definitely the first time im reading a "rant" about geo lenses... everyone i know who tried them LOVES them.
im thinking maybe you put it on "inside out"? i guess what works for most wont necessarily work for some people... im glad you have a back up brand of contacts though :)
<3
lolanne, no they're not inside out. i'm sure of it. donnarence had some trouble with it too. oh well, it's not meant for everyone.
I've been tempted to buy Geolenses too because it's cheap. But I'm afraid it will irritate my eyes too, based on your review, I'll just save my 800 bucks and my eyes too =)
badet, aww i'm sorry i discouraged you. it might work for you though, you never know.
aww.. that's too bad.. but do you know that it's usually not recommended to wear it more than 8 hours per day.. maybe that's why your eyes turn red??
ceecile, really? i thought it was around 12 hours? anyway, i've tried a lot of brands of contact lens. i've used durasoft, ciba thin, freshlook and flexwear. i wear them for 12 hours or more but it's only with geo that i've had this problem.
wow crystal! ang dami no nang followers ah! :> natetempt din ako bumili ng geo contact lens e.. hmm, mukhang mapapaisip ako nitoo. oo, tama nga sila, you shouldn't wear your contact lens for too long. maximum of 8 hours lang.
