Being the beauty junkie that I am, with a sister who's pretty vain herself, we've seriously accumulated a lot of beauty products. When our household helper says that she's going to clean our room, she says she's going to Watsons. And in the past my friends have also remarked that it's like a little PCX in our room. So without further ado, I give you, pics of our beauty products/toiletries:
the biggest stash of beauty products...
but it still doesn't end there...
and some more...
and more.
Ughhh... These aren't all mine, but I'll admit that at least 60% of these are mine. I have so many bottles of lotion and body colognes that are still unopened. I bought none of them though. They were all given to me. This doesn't even include my makeup collection, which I have a lot of too, especially since I'm a makeup artist.
I'm aware that we have too much stuff though so I've resolved to consuming five bottles before the end of year, and my sister has pledged to finish three. If it has to be replaced, though, like facial toner and the like, it doesn't count. I also haven't bought any beauty products aside from a facial masque and anti-acne stuff. It's really time to lessen the clutter.
How about you? Do you think it's too much? I'd love to know your thoughts.

They say that a girl can never have too much cosmetics but I think that when it's already causing clutter on my space and that I know I can no longer use everything up, it's already too much. I thought mine was a lot because I just filled a huge drawer or skin care products but yours is definitely a mini Watson's. :D
At least your skin looks great. :)
If most of those items are left untouched for about 6 months or more, then it is too much. :) I'm also guilty of having too much. And right now, I'm trying to finish everything. And I think I'm going crazy. :))
@pammy, unfortunately, i'm breaking out! wahhh!
@trizh, good luck to us!
wow, i thought I have a lot already! but you have more! :) i wonder how you can finish up all of it... why not have a giveaway? :)
i am the only vain person in my house - my maid is grateful! LOL
seriously though, i finish a haircare/skincare product first before buying. i feel that i can explore new products after it's finished since almost every month there's lots of new items in that category anyway. it's not the same with makeup though, uh-oh haha! but at least my makeup has its own place - in my makeup case. nowhere else in the house, so i could still tell myself it's not that much yet hehe.
but if you say some are gifts that are still unopened, maybe consider if you are gonna use them eventually? if not, better to give away. if it expires, it'll be a waste. plus, it's consuming space and gathering dust!
The room that my sister and I share is like a mini Watson's too! We love buying and trying out different products so in time they pile up on our cabinets. When we visit Watson's we make sure to buy a thing or two.
I think that if you haven't used certain products in six months and they just accumulate dust, you should dispose them. That's what my sister and I do. :)
@issa, haha a giveaway might be a good idea.
@meremakeupmaniac, i'm actually considering just giving some to my friends already. LOL
@mariakristela, thanks! i'll keep that in mind :)
I thought I have a lot already but yours is really like a mini PCX shop haha.. Same with you, my beauty stuff like lotions and body wash were mostly gifts...So what I do is, I check it if I like the scent first then I will decide which will stay and be used or those who will be better used by others ^_^
this is why even if i wanted to post my current fave product, i'm afraid that anyone in my family would read it and scold me for buying too much! im a secret hoarder of cosmetics just like my book collection. :) but i do have one cousin that raids my secret stash and she's sworn to secrecy hehehhe.
