As all of you know, I got this in a set of 6 cleansing oils and I have to say that I am in love! I'm no expert on cleansing oils since the only one I've tried apart from the Shu oils are Elianto Green Tea Cleansing Oil and DHC Cleansing Oil (once only). Of all the Shu oils, I decided to start with this first since this is the most recommended for oily skin.

I'm not used to using the oil cleansing method since it doesn't give me that squeaky clean feeling I get from washing my face with soap. Sometimes I still wash my face with soap after just because I'm not used to that moist feeling. What sold me on this variant is that when I feel a bump coming on, I wash with this at night and the next morning, the bump is dry! I'm really impressed. And take note that I'm very acne-prone and I don't even need to use my acne soap anymore.

I also don't have any problems with it emulsifying. It washes off easily with water. It has a nice mild scent and what really surprised me is that I only need to use a small amount of oil. I think my 50 ml bottle will last me 2 1/2 to 4 months if I use it once a day only. And it really does take off all the makeup in my face. I won't be using this as an eye makeup remover, though, since I think it's too pricey to be used as an eye makeup remover. Better use something cheaper that does the job.

Will I buy this again? I have to go through my other oils to see which one I like best, but I will be getting a Shu oil for sure.

Quick tip though: Better find someone who will buy this from the US or from a Duty Free abroad. That's what I'll be doing since it's just too expensive here.

It's works really well but it's pricey noh?. My Elianto green tea works for me as well so I might stick with that.

kim, i didn't like my elianto green tea. it's ok as a makeup remover but not for an overall cleanser.

ida, i know ang mahal. that's why it's better if you buy it abroad.

LOL, Crystal!!! We reviewed the same variant pa!!!:D

I'm glad it seems to work very well for you.^_^ I like it, too, but I just couldn't help but compare it to the Missha one that I tried, which I'm guessing is much cheaper.

Maybe it emulsifies better on you since you said you only use a small amount? I like to use more kasi eh.:) But yeah I wash any residue off with soap anyway.:)

Thanks for sharing your great experience with it! Your raves will give me more positive thoughts when I use this from now on. Heehee.^_^

soapaholic, yeah i have to use a small amount because it's sooo expensive. i have to make it last longer. anyway, i think that a little oil is already enough to take out all the dirt.

beauty junkee, it's so expensive right? at least it will last me a long time.
